1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
3/4 cup water
2 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons flour
- In a large frying pan, add: beef and onion. Cook on medium heat until ground beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
- Add: water, chili powder, garlic, cumin, oregano, salt and flour. Increase heat to medium-high and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring until thickened.
- Spoon beef mixture onto flour tortillas.
- Add desired toppings such as shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, lettuce, salsa and sour cream and roll up tortilla to enjoy!
You can add up to 5 teaspoons of chili powder if you like it spicy!
