Soft Tacos

Soft Tacos


1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
3/4 cup water
2 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons flour


  1. In a large frying pan, add: beef and onion. Cook on medium heat until ground beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add: water, chili powder, garlic, cumin, oregano, salt and flour. Increase heat to medium-high and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring until thickened.
  3. Spoon beef mixture onto flour tortillas.
  4. Add desired toppings such as shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, lettuce, salsa and sour cream and roll up tortilla to enjoy!


You can add up to 5 teaspoons of chili powder if you like it spicy!
