2 minute Creamy Avocado Dip



1 avocado
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt /plain regular yogurt
1 tablespoon lime (or lemon) juice
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)


1. Cut avocado in half, lengthwise, around the pit. Scoop out green flesh of avocado with a spoon and place in bowl. Using a fork mash the avocado until it is smooth.
2. Mix in yogurt, lime juice, garlic powder, pepper and salt. Adjust spices to taste.
3. Enjoy! Serve with carrot sticks, cucumbers, broccoli, or crackers.

Makes 1 cup


Choosing the right avocado:

Feels slightly soft, but not mushy

Yields (gives in) to firm gentle pressure

Usually darker green in color

Store cut avocado in refrigerator:

Squeeze some lime juice on top to prevent from turning brown

Wrap tightly with plastic wrap
