Welcome to Healthy Start for Mom & Me
Healthy Start for Mom & Me is just that: a place where people who are pregnant and parents with babies up to 1 year can learn how to give their babies the healthiest start possible.
Our program provides friendship, acceptance, information and other practical supports in 8 Winnipeg neighbourhoods. At each group you will find an outreach worker, dietitian and public health nurse to answer your questions.
Join us for a session (view our calendar to find a group closest to you) and learn how nutrition, nurturing and neighbourhood supports can help your baby have a healthy start.
“Your program fills my toolbox. Just when I feel like I don’t know how to handle a new challenge my baby brings me, you give me new tools and great advice to keep me going.” – program participant
